As a starting point, I take the famous concept by Alfred Korzybski – the map is not the territory – and adjust it in an ironic way, where the map is not the map and the territory is not the territory. I do not move further to hyperreality, maybe just mention it. My work is dedicated to a pre-linguistic (or non-linguistic) state of being in time and space. Finding oneself being locked and overwhelmed by an unknown landscape, which borders are unmeasurable due to limited vision and truncated perspective. The word "habitus" can perfectly describe this disturbing state of a non-reflected stage. Habitus contains its own matter of time – cyclic, repeated, and self-contained construction. This reminds mythological approach where time is transcribed as a transit condition or transcendence of events.
